With the vehicle variety rather lacking from Tootbus in my last London trip in 2023, I'll happily take this quick grab shot of yet another Scania OmniCity now removed from TfL work. At this point, wherever I go, I'm just bound to find one! Had TfGM not had theirs rejected, I'd have seen some in Manchester, too! Anyhow, it looks as though these Scanias are a recent investment for the Operator Formerly Known as The Original Tour, seemingly taking delivery of a small number of these to replace their oldest Plaxtons - roughly at the same time some of their fleet is going in for electric power conversion. Once again, you just can't go wrong, aesthetics-wise, on a Scania OmniCity, so I'm not that opposed to replacing time-expired Plaxtons, in this instance! I'm sure I'll have a photo of one lined up when I eventually sort out my 2023 photos.
One of three of my only open-top photos due to... well, I'll probably get into the reasoning later on, Tootbus' 17, a 2010 Scania N230UD OmniCity new to London United as their SP200, later becoming SP40200 under Transdev's crazy fleet data system, is seen heading down Euston Road on a Green Route running via Trafalgar Square - which we avoided entirely!
