Finally! We're off Princes Street! I thought it'd never end! We move from one bus hub to the other, starting a brief, rather uneventful jaunt to the infamous Edinburgh Bus Station, subject last year to the threat of being closed down and redeveloped until a new lease was agreed earlier this month. Though there was a decent amount of coaching variety kicking about, I quickly left here when I realised that nothing was moving fast.
I assume that tight for time, what I was trying to do here was focus on the Borders Buses bus in the foreground while also getting the National Express coach in, too. Borders Buses is a... relatively speaking, big independent in eastern Scotland, running services to the titular borders with England using a wide variety of buses and coaches from various destinations. My problem, however? In the two trips that I made to Edinburgh, I had some extremely poor luck trying to get decent photographs of them. Here's hoping I can rectify that error for 2025!
Parked up prior to running out later in the morning, Borders Buses 11301, a 2013 Optare Versa V1170 new to Perryman's, is seen ahead of Go North East's National Express-contracted 7120, a 2015 Volvo B11RT Caetano Levante II, are both seen in the sunlit parking bays of Edinburgh Bus Station.
