On the way to Klima village from the Catacombs of Milos island and after an hour's worth of steep and quite a dangerous descent under the blistering August sun, on a path seemingly God forsaken, we realized it was anything BUT forsaken. A small clearing, a tiny Chapel built in the mountain's rock, an olive tree, some longed-for shade... Refuge, with view to the majestic Aegean blue.
The Chapel is dedicated to St. Paraskevi, patron Saint of eyes and sight. Summer of 2012, Milos Island.
