Lake 🌊 Koltan-Nur is drainless, dry and very very salty. One of the few pink lakes in Russia.Located in Kalmykia. The lake is so salty that its only inhabitant is the microscopic brine shrimp, which is what gives the color to the lake. Crustaceans give water not only color. With the death of their dying bodies accumulate at the bottom of the lake, mixing with silt and salt.
