Since the front message is facing the stage where speakers take turns at the mic, it is hard to know what the sign maker chose to display to other citizens who see the front. But the back side is visible, "We will not save America by asking nicely." Stated another way, "shouting and demanding different behavior" of federal appointed and elected officials is what the current situation requires, according to the sign maker at the March 8, 2025 women's march in downtown Grand Rapids.

Most of the camera lenses were making mementoes or sharing publicly on a small individual but cumulatively large scale. But a few camera were for news broadcast or documentary projects of a more professional and in-depth nature. This view is from the stage front, looking out to the Ecliptic (oval) that Maya Lin designed in 2001.

Seeing so many signs at the women's march in downtown Grand Rapids, Michigan means that stores selling the posterboard and cardboard must have enjoyed a lot of business in the week before the March 8 event.
