It was almost evening when I caught this frame. The green fields looked like velvet, and the last rays of the sun beautifully highlighted every detail of the landscape. By the side of the road a few trees, and among them a tractor driver who had just finished his work and was slowly driving to a well-deserved rest. Such moments have something cool in them - ordinariness that becomes extraordinary for a moment.

Don't you just love finding old photos you overlooked. Taken a couple of years ago near Brathay, Lake District
One of the many vendors at Aït Benhaddou. The sign above his head makes reference to the Gladiator movie franchise, in which many scenes were filmed in this desert town.
Aït Benhaddou, a UNESCO World Heritage Site in Morocco, has been used as a filming location for numerous films, including Lawrence of Arabia, Gladiator, The Mummy, Prince of Persia, and Game of Thrones.
A museum hallway features ornate carpets displayed on both sides, with a glass-paneled structure leading to a large window illuminating the space. Warm wooden tones and intricate floral designs create an inviting and elegant atmosphere.
Eastern Outfitting Building, 1017-1019 Market Street, San Francisco, California. This structure was built in 1909 with design by George Applegarth (1875-1972), an Oakland-born architect. The building was constructed to be home to a branch of the Eastern Outfitting Company. The words "Furniture and Carpets" on the facade are a remnant from when the building was home to the Union Furniture Store in the late 1940s. As of 2023 the building has been slated for redevelopment.
