From March 2025, Macclesfield depot provided two of the three buses used on D&G route 42 (Congleton to Crewe via Holmes Chapel, Middlewich and Leighton Hospital). One of the Macclesfield-based buses operating route 42 on 24 April 2025 was 571 (CN17 BHD), an Alexander Dennis E20D/Enviro 200 MMC that was new to Cardiff Bus in March 2017.

D&G Bus 593 (YY64 GWL) was photographed at Congleton bus station on 24 April 2025 when it was operating route 94 to Newcastle-under-Lyme. This Alexander Dennis E20D/Enviro 200 was new to High Peak with TransPeak branding in December 2014 and was later transferred to Centrebus. It returned to High Peak via Chaserider in 2022 before moving to D&G in 2023.

D&G Bus was awarded the contract to operate Cheshire East Council supported Congleton local services 90/91/92 from 31 March 2025. The routes were previously operated by Hollinshead Coaches using two Alexander Dennis E20D/Enviro 200s that were new in 2016. D&G operated the services from Macclesfield depot and although the two Hollinshead Enviro 200s were acquired, two former Ross, Featherstone Optare Solo SRs were used in Congleton initially. One of these, 3012 (YJ15 AXS), was photographed at Congleton bus station on 24 April 2025 when it was operating route 92 to Buglawton.

D&G route 38 linking Macclesfield and Crewe was usually operated by three of the MCV eVoRa bodied Volvo B8RLEs based at Crewe depot but on 24 April 2025 Alexander Dennis E20D/Enviro 200 4 (YX16 OHW), with branding for route 84X (Crewe to Nantwich), had substituted for one of the eVoRas. This bus was new to TLC Travel, Bradford in May 2016. It entered service with Chaserider in March 2023 and was transferred to D&G at the end of April 2023. It was photographed at Congleton bus station before departing for Macclesfield.

I don't believe it: this lens and camera beat my favourite Minolta. I was originally going to get rid of it as results had been disappointing- entirely my fault. Possibly.

The old Nikon 85mm f1.4 - my copy- has a staggering amount of coma aberration. But what bokeh!

By the end of November 2024, four new MCV eVoRa bodied Volvo B8RLEs numbered 6013 to 6016 had entered service at Crewe depot. Three of them were used on route 38 linking Crewe, Sandbach, Congleton and Macclesfield and 6014 (BU74 YVJ) was photographed at Congleton bus station heading for Macclesfield on 21 February 2025.
