As it turned out I was in for quite a wait on the 1073, not really a problem since the later it got the better the light. Finally I got a heads up from a friend camped out in Aurora that the 1073 and a stack train had just passed. By time the pair got to Fairview their positions had been reversed, but not by much, that's the headlight for the 1073's train in the distance.
