You'll have to look closely at this to see what's going on. I managed to climb over the fence (no mean feat for a person of small stature!), but it was too high for Kiri, so I walked along a bit until I found that mossy tree-stump, and told her to sit on it. This raised her up high enough to jump over, but it wasn't safe, with the barbed wire, which could have caught her on her way over, so I used my emergency dog-lead (that blue thing you can see there), which I always carry for emergencies, to tie the barbed wire down away from the top, temporarily. I then simply told her to jump! She was quite gleeful about it! She looked carefully at the fence, working out how she'd do the jump, then took a great leap from a standing start and simply flew over. Such a star! I released the barbed wire and replaced the lead the bottom of my bag before proceeding along the road.
And through the entire process, the rain came down solidly. We were both soaked.
Mamiya is just a bundle of new ideas at this point, whether it's interchangeable-lens TLRs or the swappable 35mm film backs. I recall getting a chance to check out one of these tiny things and being impressed with its cleverness.
