50-250mm - lovely range, very good for travel and everyday needs.
f4-5.6 - not bad for sunny days
the lens size - acceptable, filter just 55mm
weight - not the winner, but this lens from 1982 and AT-X series, so have more glasses inside and metal body - 725 gr.
IQ - i like it.
bokeh - in some ranges looks incredible like from lens with f4-5.6.
macro - wow, very useful 1:1.4 at 250mm.
minimal focusing - 1.8m .. for 50mm it's a nightmare :) for 250mm OK .. but for closer shots I can use Macro, and get really close shots even on 50mm ;)
colors - who care?! I always shoot the RAW and edit them before publishing. But they came from this lens very realistically + little bit vivid.
focusing & zooming - the best !!!
I love old fashion push & pull design, very fast, very handy and useful for manual everyday shooting.
lens creep - yes, it's exist on this lens, but I don't care about that because do not shoot any macro from the tripod ;)
my rating after this summer :) 8 from 10.
nearest competitor ( from more interesting glasses for myself ) - Tokina AT-X 35-200mm f3.5-4.5
