This ginger bee with the black face is a red mason bee (Osmia bicornis). These guys have for several years now occupied the keyhole for the upper lock in our front door.
This one was sitting on the window sill about a week ago when I took this and yesterday I saw her (or another female) entering the keyhole to construct cells out of mud which they then fill with pollen and an egg. The next generation then hatch inside those and hibernate inside their cells in adult form.
