Although the pair of Fulvous Whistling Ducks are the principle subject of this photograph, this interesting group also includes the rare (but somewhat underwhelming), endemic Meller's Duck - Anas Melleri (far right) as well as several White-faced Whistling Ducks and Red-billed Teal
Meller's Duck, Anas miller, 55 - 68 cm . / 21.65 - 26.77 in. UUCOMMON. Slightly larger than a Mallard. ENDANGERED ENDEMIC due to loss of habitat. Freshwater marshes, lakes, streams and rivers, particularly in wooded areas
