Die 193 759 der NiederländischenEisenbahn war am 27. April 2025 mit IC 146 (Berlin Ostbahnhof - Amsterdam Centraal) unterwegs gen Heimat. Kurz vor Bad Oeynhausen überquert der Zug im Bild die Weser. Auf dem Wasser fährt ein Schiff der Mindener Fahrgastschiffahrt. Das Schiff musste digital um ein paar Sekunden angehalten werden.

De Nederlandse Vectron 193 759 bracht op 27 april 2025 Intercity 146 van Berlin Ostbahnhof naar Amaterdam Centraal en passeert op de foto de brug over de Weser te Bad Oeynhausen. Op de Weser vaart een schip van de Mindener Fahrgastschiffahrt. Het schip was helaas een paar seconden te snel en werd daarom digitaal een beetje langzamer.

A ship of the shipping company Mindener Fahrgastschiffahrt is headed north. Unfortunately it passed just a few seconds to early (I slowed it down just enough in photoshop).

Ein "Plan V"-Triebwagen der NS verlässt am nördlichen Ufer des Noordzee-Kanaals die Hembrug auf dem Weg nach Noord-Holland.

Die Brücke hatte regelmäßig Öffnungszeiten für den Schiffsverkehr, so dass die Freiheitsgrade für die Fahrplangestaltung und das Angebot im Reisezugverkehr von Amsterdam in Richtung Noord-Holland sehr begrenzt waren. Erst mit Eröffnung des Hemtunnels im Jahr 1983 konnte der Zugverkehr mit der Bevölkerungsentwicklung Schritt halten.


Een Plan V-treinstel verlaat de Hembrug aan de noordoever van het Noordzeekanaal op weg naar de kop van Noord-Holland.

De brug stond regelmatig open voor het scheepvaartverkeer, waardoor de vrijheid in de dienstregeling en het aanbod van personentreindiensten vanuit Amsterdam richting Noord-Holland zeer beperkt was. Pas na de opening van de Hemtunnel in 1983 kon het treinverkeer de bevolkingsgroei bijhouden.


A "Plan V"-treinset on it's way from Amsterdam to the northern part of the province of North-Holland has passed the Hembrug crossing the North-Sea-Channel.

The bridge was regularly open to shipping traffic, which severely limited the freedom in the timetable and the range of passenger train services from Amsterdam to North Holland. It was only after the opening of the Hemtunnel in 1983 that train traffic could keep up with the population growth.
