With the first Snow of 2025 hitting Virginia, I had to go out and snap some pictures. I’ve always enjoyed shooting trains in the snow and this is no different. It was also fun to see the day one paint scheme on Amtrak P040 blitzing through the RF&P. This train really speaks to me as of recently with me taking Model trains very seriously as of late and has really peaked my interest in Amtrak consists. A close friend of mine has recently completed a completely modern Sliver Meteor set and watching him work on it has been truly inspiring and has brought me to want to build my own long distance Amtrak. Has of right now, I am working on a full modern Crescent in HO scale and will hopefully have it done soon. Who knows, maybe it will get posted here when it’s done?
