Při čekání na Sp 1773 se mi podařilo zachytit 842.026 na Os 4153. Toto Kvatro je zajímavé tím, že nese nátěr propagující AŽD a ECTS, společně s časovou osou vzniku řady 842, a stává se tak jediným Kvatrem (okrem prototipů), které je něčím zajímavé.

With the first Snow of 2025 hitting Virginia, I had to go out and snap some pictures. I’ve always enjoyed shooting trains in the snow and this is no different. It was also fun to see the day one paint scheme on Amtrak P040 blitzing through the RF&P. This train really speaks to me as of recently with me taking Model trains very seriously as of late and has really peaked my interest in Amtrak consists. A close friend of mine has recently completed a completely modern Sliver Meteor set and watching him work on it has been truly inspiring and has brought me to want to build my own long distance Amtrak. Has of right now, I am working on a full modern Crescent in HO scale and will hopefully have it done soon. Who knows, maybe it will get posted here when it’s done?
As the sun begins to peak its head in the city of Baltimore, the trains of the NEC continue to bustle about station to station. Here at Penn station we see an Amtrak regional sit next to an idle Marc commuter waiting to depart next hour.

Marc train 517 departs out of Baltimore, Penn Station at 7 in the morning with HHP-8 # 4913 shoving all the way back to Washington. If I haven’t mentioned it before then I’ll do it here, these things are some of my favorite locomotives. While crews hate them for rightful reasons and others outside the NEC call them weird, I love their unique looks and backstory. I’ve always been drawn to the HHP-8 and will continue to come up and catch them on Marc until there soon to be retirement.
