At the end of a rainbow

In Ireland, it is said that a treasure is hidden at the end of a rainbow. Rainbows are considered a bridge between the world of humans and that of the leprechauns (goblins).
According to legend, the Leprechauns are very stingy and use the end of the rainbow to hide their treasures from humans.

In Norse mythology, Bifröst, also called Bilröst, is a burning rainbow bridge that reaches between Midgard (Earth) and Asgard, the realm of the gods.

According to the Prose Edda, the bridge ends in heaven at Himinbjörg, the residence of the god Heimdall, who guards it from the jötnar.

I was moving on out after a really enjoyable visit. It was my first visit and I had correctly guessed I would get some nice shots aside from just scouting and meandering about. It is almost the best/ idyllic representation for shoreline area for natural Connecticut.
