Cargo worth several million Euro glints gold at it climbs the Semmering. The location, Km 89.5 near Eichberg, is the western exit of the Geyregger tunnel whose portal makes a nice foreground.
The cars are C3 Citroën (Stellantis), manufactured in Trnava, Slovakia (60km east of Bratislava). They are travelling toward western Europe or perhaps to a seaport for exportation.

22-10-2024 – Between Eichberg and Klamm, the IC 359 Wien - Graz passes the short Geyeregger Tunnel on the spectacular section of the Semmering line (Gloggnitz – Spital am Semmering). At this time of the year and hour, the interior of the tunnel is almost entirely lit by the sun.
The train is one of the remaining classic locomotive-hauled trains composed with a 1144 and traditional passenger cars. Other long-distance trains are either modern Railjets, or 4046 EMUs, and some ICs or ECs are hauled by Taurus 1016 / 1116 / 1216 engines.
