It doesn't matter what the weather does outside, just so long as you have a warm place to stay... where you can watch the snow from inside.

This is Yew Two Tree Cottage from Dragon Magick Wares and it's the perfect place to hide away in. It is only 53 Land Impact, and there are two versions included: one with snow, and one without.

This pic is of my Mother Elaine, and Grandfather Oscar who lived next to the Electrona "Carbide works" at Snug/Electrona in 1942 before later moving to Bruny Island to live . The house was located on the bank at the north end of Snug Beach and across the pedestrian footbridge (on the Electrona side) next to the Smelter site. It has long since disappeared and was most likely burnt down in the deadly "Black Tuesday" bushfires in 1967 which ravaged South Eastern Tasmania, killing 64 people. Not my photo but taken by a family member.

One story I heard from a family member is that a light was inadvertently showing from the house one night and a policeman called to tell them to get it covered ( due to wartime blackout restrictions) or they would be charged. My Grandfather of course complied but was not happy as the Carbide factory right next door was "lit up like a Christmas tree".

A quite serious business really as in retrospect it was found that Japanese submarines and the occasional aerial reconnaissance occurred even this far South during the Pacific war.
