A Quarry I photographed back in 2021.
It's called cwm eigiau Slate Quarry, it ran from the 1827’s to the end of the 1900’s.
After many years of wish and good amount of planning, I ended up in Iceland again for the 4th time. But this time the aim was mainly to capture the northern light; which is the highlight of the solar cycle 25.
And the nature didn't leave us disappointed. We had seen the light almost every days of our stay. And no it was not a little slice on the sky. The entire sky was in fire.
With a bit of planning and some dedication, we managed to dodge the dodgy weather of Iceland. Did I manage to capture everything I wanted to?
Surely not. Come on, it is Iceland. How can you get every place the way you want? But whatever I have seen were good enough for remembering my 4th and probably the last visit of the land of Ice and Fire.
