Strobist, dos unidades de flash YN460-II, a 45 º a la derecha, uno en el suelo y otro enganchado a una señal de tráfico, a 1,80 m., ambos a 3 puntos de potencia con difusor. Además del golpe de luz regula el balance de blancos.
En el jardín nazarí de Vélez de Benaudalla.
El agua que fluye a la superficie de las regiones calizas , al encontrarse con la atmósfera libera su CO2 disuelto, por lo que la caliza precipita formando una roca denominada "toba".
Este proceso se ve favorecido por la presencia de vegetación, hojarasca, etc. que facilita la liberación del CO2 disuelto, por lo que la caliza va precipitando sobre la superficie de estas plantas, dando lugar a una roca muy porosa que reproduce las estructuras vegetales, "la toba".

Tuna the cat, October 2016, bounced flash
Haven't used my compact (and very inexpensive) Yongnuo flash lately - it's manual like my studio strobes, but these have constant AC power and modeling lights, far more light formers, and so on.
I still wanted to know how to set the flash when bouncing it over the ceiling. So without measuring it first, I guessed the exposure quite correctly: camera at an aperture of f/2, flash on 1/8th power. Et voilà, Tuna the cat, exposed on the spot.

I felt like doing a bit of self-harming today, so I read up on it and apparently it involves cutting yourself or something. That sounded a bit boring, so I thought it would be more fun to clone and kick the shit out of myself!

Bit-o-fill-light from a YN460II on full power into umbrella, camera right.
I went over to the botanical gardens at sunrise the other day and took 900+ photos. I took about 150 of bees. This was the shot I liked best out of all of them. It's not quite what I wanted, but I really liked the pose and I'll try shooting at a faster shutter speed some other time to freeze the wings. For lighting I used a Yongnuo yn-460ii with it's bounce card out held off to the side of the subject. The subject is also being back-lit by the sun.
