Another of the white-tailed eagles (Haliaeetus albicilla) that I photographed on the island I'm from, this past summer.

This one came to get fish many times, and it seemed to fly to bring it to its partner probably in a nest a bit away.

This eagle is not ringed, but I guess it is the partner of N2 97, ringed 10 years ago by a friend of mine close to where I live now.

The ringed white-tailed eagle (Haliaeetus albicilla) called N2 97, from my Easter vacation on the island I'm from this spring.

The other photos I've showed of this beautiful eagle previously, are from spring one year earlier. Now it has turned 10 years old.

When I visited this summer, I only saw its partner without a ring. It came for fish many times and brought it in the same direction, probably to a nest where N2 97 hopefully was, taking care of one or two little ones.

N2 97 was ringed by a friend of mine from the bird club where I live now, in a nest in Jøssingfjord in our neighbouring municipality Sokndal, before it interestingly moved all the way to the island I'm from.

It is nice to enjoy the few nice July days at sea, like I've done today as well.

We don't see as many white-tailed eagles (Haliaeetus albicilla) here during summer as the rest of the year, since the adults are busy nesting, and the younger eagles seem to go other places at this time.

But there are still some that wants to get fish to bring to their nests, and eat some of it themselves as well.

I haven't seen this 10 year old ringed eagle (called N2 97) since Easter, but its partner without rings came several times both today and three days ago to get fish for the chicks they probably have.

I work a lot on my white-tailed eagle photos these days, both new and old ones, which leads to a lot of eagle uploads ッ

This is another photo of the individual called N2 97. It was ringed by a friend of mine from the bird club where I live now, in a nest in Jøssingfjord in our neighbouring municipality Sokndal, nearly 10 years ago before it moved all the way to Bømlo.

This photo is from the winter break last year when it was nearly 9 years old, but I also photographed it this Easter.

Today I recieved information on some of the ringed white-tailed eagles (Haliaeetus albicilla) that live on the island I'm from.

I've photographed several of them many times, like this one called N2 97, and thought it would be fun to register them to get to know them better.

It was fun to read that a friend of mine from the bird club where I live now, had ringed it in a nest in Jøssingfjord, in our neighbouring municipality Sokndal, nearly 10 years ago before it moved all the way to Bømlo.

One of the about 18 white-tailed eagles (Haliaeetus albicilla) I met at sea yesterday. Awesome!

It was also lovely to hear and see even more newly returned migratory birds, on that mild and lovely day.

Hello from the air, passing Turkey right now- on my way to Qatar, and then Kenya ツ

This winged beauty, the white-tailed eagle (Haliaeetus albicilla), is from my home island earlier this year.
