Last milky way of March.

This picture was taken the only day spared by the fine dust that cursed the whole month of March.
Anbandegi is a mountainside village located at an elevation of 1,100 meters quite known for its dark skies in Korea, but even so we can see far away the bright lights of DongHae, a coastal city in the south west.
The sky was shot with the Nikon Z 14-24mm F2.8, and the ground with the Nikon Z 20mm F1.8.

영월 수라리재 은하수

3nd milky way of this season, and first of March.

This picture was taken the only day with relatively clear skies before moonlight getting too bright to photograph the milky way. Next opportunity should come around end of March, if the weather allows. This shot is a combination of 3 exposures, one for the sky (50 stacked shots), one of the mountains and one for the car trails. It is a spot that I visited once last year, but around May, when the trees were full of leaves, so the result is quite different.
I did not use a soft filter this time, so the stars are a little bit smaller, not sure which I like the most. I have 2 weeks to think about it, until my next night sky photo trip.

The Seongsu Bridge is a cantilever bridge over the Han River, connecting the Seongdong and Gangnam districts of Seoul, South Korea. The bridge began construction under Hyundai Engineering & Construction on April 26, 1995 and was opened to the public on July 3, 1997. The original Seongsu Bridge was built in 1979, and was demolished and rebuilt following the Seongsu Bridge disaster on October 21, 1994.
