Date and location unknown. An uncommonly cheerful family (minus the father) poses in front of a single-pen house—probably a log building renovated around the turn of the century. Note the exterior chimney. Compare this house to the now-demolished Clarridge House in Madison County, Ohio.
Exact date and location unknown. A photo by C.R. Callihan. A 1900 issue of the St. Louis and Canadian Photographer mentions that "C.R. Callihan has opened a studio in Elmore, O[hio]," so this is probably a house somewhere in the northwestern part of the state. The four-digit address number on the home (which seems to be 1945) suggests a more urban location—maybe Toledo, which isn't too far from Elmore.
