Very much an experimental image, (No AI). Cross Country Class 220 units (left) pass a GWR 800 set at Yatton Loops, North Somerset, on the evening of Saturday 12 October 2024. Comments welcome.

I was expecting a Voyager, but had misread RTT, my aim was to try to make the Arriva Cross Country workhorse look interesting! My location is an over-bridge on a quiet lane that leads from the main A38 road to what appears to be a horse riding centre, a number of adjacent fields had various types/sizes of jumps, this small field looked to be too small for any serious jumping, but I thought it added some interest to what turned out to be an IET. It was working a service it clearly was not designed for and probably only being used because the Mandarins at the DfT insisted. What is happening to our once wonderful railway system?
