This was supposed to be my husband's 17th anniversary card... I made it two months in advance and forgot it on our trip when we left! LOL! He will get it someday soon:)

I've been experimenting with alcohol inks lately. I had them around for awhile and never got into them but decided to try the new trend of using them on black synthetic paper instead of white and just started making a bunch of test pieces, almost all of them failures (aside from the fact that I got some sweet detail photos out of a couple of 'em *wink wink*). This is a macro detail photo of an absolute and total couldn't-fail-harder-if-you-tried screw up which I will hopefully be making a timelapse slideshow of to post next.

A composite grid of nine small images that has just been awarded a FIAP gold medal in the Southampton International Exhibition 2023 (for best creative colour print). I was delighted to get the news a few days ago.

Some days are meant for creation. Learning new forms of art is a power and the power of expression is important.
