As I said in my previous post, we are still some weeks off autumn colours so the deciduous trees are showing the effects of recent very hot days and dry weather. The lawn has also gone yellow as a result. Until the last few weeks, our summer was much wetter and a little cooler.

I went for a walk in this local park yesterday to take some pics. I think this one just about sums up the dreariness of our spring so far. Hopefully brighter weather is around the corner. I count myself lucky though that we are not being afflicted by floods as is happening in some of our rural areas.
