This is the same as the previous posting, just minutes later. This is taken over Lake Onalaska, located in Onalaska, Wisconsin. This is one of my favorite spots for taking sunset pics! Nothing quite like taking sunset pics over a body of water--so beautiful!
Hope you all enjoy!

This is taken at one of my favorite spots for capturing sunsets, right over Lake Onalaska--which in reality would be the Mississippi River, if it weren't for the many islands in the area. Probably many of you have read that before in my many postings.
My husband and I had just finished eating dinner out at one of our favorite Mexican restaurants, and he was gracious enough to oblige me by stopping to take some sunset pics--definitely one of my favorite things to do!
Hope you all enjoy!

This, too, is from my archives. This was taken in December of 2022, out the backside of our deck. We obviously just got finished with a pretty good snowfall for us. That was pretty in itself, but to add the sunset with the trees as a light silhouette, I thought it was especially pretty. Hope y'all enjoy!

My favourite wharf in Sydney to visit at sunset.
A feature of this wharf is the groovy music that floats across Jones Bay from the nearby Doltone House Reception & Function Centre.

Note: Now that I review this image on the big screen I can see that the clarity in the distance is not so good. But I like the dusk ambience so I will leave it

Around 140 km/85 miles north of Cape Town, Kersefontein is a farmstead with many period Cape Dutch buildings, some dating back to the late 18th Century... very old in South Africa.
Originally purchased by settler Martin Melck in 1770, Kersefontein remains in the possession of the eighth generation of his descendants. The first deed described the farm as a 'zeker Veepost' (certain cattle post) and it remains used to farm sheep, cattle, horses and wheat as it has for a quarter of a millennium. It is also available for farm-stays.
