The Changing of the Guard at Amalienborg Palace in Copenhagen is a daily ritual, much like those in other capitals, such as London’s Buckingham Palace. The Royal Life Guard, in their traditional uniforms, marches from Rosenborg Castle to Amalienborg and performs the ceremony at noon. While it’s a long-standing tradition, when we visited on a hot summer day, we saw one young soldier faint. It makes you wonder whether such ceremonies still belong in the 21st century, feeling more like relics of the past. That said, it's still an enjoyable spectacle to watch - Copenhagen, Denmark
