First flown with the Bombardier test registration C-FMMB, this aircraft was delivered to Air Littoral, France as F-GNME in Oct-93. It was operated on behalf of Air France in full livery.
In Jul-95 the aircraft was repainted in Air France / Air Inter Express livery, still operated by Air Littoral. That continued until Apr-97 when it reverted to Air France, operated by Air Littoral.
The aircraft was returned to Air Littoral in Mar-98 and immediately leased to Air Nostrum, Spain as EC-GTG. It was operated on behalf of Iberia Regional. It returned to Air Littoral as F-GPTM in Dec-99.
It continued in operation until it was withdrawn from service and stored at Montpelier in Feb-04. The aircraft was ferried to Calgary, AB, Canada in Apr-04 and permanently retired.
It was broken up at Calgary in 2006 and the fuselage was moved to Abbottsford, BC, Canada (I don't know why!). It was scrapped at Abbottsford in 2008.

Conroy Guppy Conversion.
Built as a Canadair CL-44D4-2 and delivered to Flying Tiger Line as N447T in Aug-61, the aircraft was sold to the Conroy Aircraft Company in Dec-68 and converted to the Conroy CL-44-0 Guppy standard by Nov-69.
It was originally designed to be able to carry 3 complete Rolls Royce RB211 engines from the UK to Palmdale, CA, USA, for Lockheed's L1011 Tristar programme. In Jul-70 it was leased to Transmeridian Air Cargo and named the 'Skymonster'.
It was sold to Heavyweight International in Dec-78 while the lease to Transmeridian continued. Transmeridian was merged into British Cargo Airlines in Aug-79. In Aug-79 the aircraft was returned to the lessor, sold to Aviation Leasing Group, re-registered EI-BND and leased to Heavylift Cargo Airlines.
It was returned to Aviation Leasing Group in Oct-93 and leased to Buffalo Airways (not the Canadian one!) two months later in Dec-93. It was returned to Aviation Leasing Group as N447T in Nov-96. In May-97 it was re-registered 4K-GUP and leased to Azerbaijan Airlines. The cargo division was renamed Azerbaijan Airlines Cargo in Dec-97.
In Mar-98 it was briefly leased to Baku Express before being returned to the Aviation Leasing Group two months later in May-98. At the end of Jul-98, it was leased to First International Airlines (Ghana) as 9G-LCA.
It was sub-leased to Johnsons Air in Nov-98 and returned to First International in Mar-99. It was returned to the Aviation Leasing Group in Jul-99 and stored, initially in the USA and then at Bournemouth, UK, where it was due to be broken up.
However, it was again briefly leased to Johnsons Air in Sep-02 and again returned to storage at Bournemouth in early 2003. In Dec-06 the aircraft was registered in the Philippines as RP-C8023 and was being prepared for service in Australia, but it was still stored at Bournemouth in Mar-08.
In Aug-08 it looked as though the aircraft was about to be scrapped, however this was put on hold in Sep-08 due to rumours of it being donated to a museum in Germany. In Jan-10 Bournemouth International Airport Limited offered the aircraft for sale.
After a further period in storage there was more activity on the aircraft during the summer of 2013 and in Jul-13 it was registered N447FT again, to Jordan H Wayne. It was still at Bournemouth on 14-Aug-17 looking in excellent condition and now all silver.
The aircraft was due to be broken up in late Feb-21 but seems to have received yet another reprieve. Personally, I don't think it would ever be licensed to fly again. Most of the airframe is over 60 years old and it has been 'stored' for more than 20 years. The costs involved in making it airworthy would be more than the aircraft was worth. It was finally broken up at Bournemouth in Jan/Feb-25. Updated 17-Feb-25.
