Created from two 180º DJI Panos pasted together. Clearly they contained more that 180ºs of image as you can see Little Tunk Pond on both the left and right side of the images with Flanders Pond just left of center and a glimpse of Donnell Pond just right of center. Also visible are Schoodic Mountain in the center and Black Mountain to the right of center.
Drone was at 400 ft AGL or roughly 857' ASL.
My Ena and I had just finished hiking Black Mountain and found a likely pull off on along Black Mtn Rd. A truly beautiful day to be out hiking and taking pictures.

Just for fun, but especially for Todd and Kathy. I am still working on my images, both drone and Z 6II, from Ptown, but I was tickled by this one and thought I would push it out in front of the others. My uncle built out the first incarnation of the Ice House Apartments and it is a place that has been special to my family since we were kids.

I shot this one lower to the ground and closer to the cottage so that our home is more prominent, but it still has to be above the tree tops in order to get the sky needed to create the Tiny Planet effect. I also created a PS Action so I can create the Tiny Planet even more quickly, though it isn't a lot of work in the first place. Holding down Shift in LRc when cropping keeps the crop square and centered.

The Tiny Planet was created in PS using Filter->Distort->Polar Coordinates (Rectangualr to Polar). The image must first be flipped 180º. In this case I started with a DJI Sphere Pano so no seem repair was needed.
