The Flickr Fastasleep Image Generatr

Artist Frederic Kimball Mizen (1888-1964) was a prominent 20th century landscape and genre painter and a pioneer in billboard illustrations. He's most well-known for designing the first Coca Cola billboard ad and for creating magazine covers for numerous American publications, including “The Saturday Evening Post.”

Mizen made numerous trips to the Southwest and became well known for his paintings of Native Americans and the landscapes of Arizona and New Mexico. He also established a thriving practice of portrait painting and was favored for official corporate portraits. An educator as well as a fine and commercial artist, Mizen opened his own art school in Chicago in 1936.

Miss Sadie has a 2nd birthday fast approaching but here’s an old one of her still in that baby-before-toddler stage and adorably asleep.

Today, James (my son) his wife, Steph and Joshua are off to Edinburgh to see The Lion King, which of course they will love! We are at home with little Jonah .... so far, he's slept, been fed and slept again!! Fingers are crossed!!

This photo is one of my old favourites. I seen this country fox while I was out walking on a few mornings, it darted from the sheep field into a line of adjacent scrub and trees when it seen me (as they do). I crept along the fence line between the scrub and the sheep field a few days later with my camera hoping it may still be laid up in the scrub. I couldnt believe my eyes when I seen it curled up in a ball sleeping, I was so close to it that i remember my heart was beating like a drum, I was sure he'd wake up. I got two photos before he was off like a rocket where the camera fired. The negative is in quite a poor condition now, hence the scratches but this totally wild fox is still one of my favs.

This guy, presumably and unfortunately homeless, was fast asleep at the side of the road! The cars were "flying" past and still he slept away although he was managing to hang onto the few dollars in his hand!!

Tessa will tell you this summer was too hot to do anything but sleep. But in the last few days it's cooled right off and now, as you can see, it's the perfect temperature for napping.
