Classic humour
I decided I’d have a go at illustrating the classic Two Ronnies sketch “Four Candles” (which you can see here - youtu.be/Ozpek_FrOPs).
Ironically I had completely forgotten that the part of the gag that I’ve illustrated was the misunderstanding that the customer wanted fork handles, not four candles, however, the fork handles were for the gardening implement and not handles for forks for eating, I thought that actually improved the image!
We were all exhausted and hot! But I really wanted todays photo to mark that it was my daughters birthday. I convinced the family they'd all be out of focus and amazingly I got this photo, which shows off the delicious chocolate brownie cake nicely.
Sometimes even if you think the answer will be no, you have to ask! I've learnt that.
