I love our garden that is so full of beautiful wildlife.
A photo I took in San Antonio on our trip there in 2017.
We were so astonished to see the carriages and the horses with unicorn decorations as it became dark. The horses not only had a unicorn horn, but gold manes and hooves.
Why I love this stage of Spring most. While the first blooms are exhilarating, they don’t get the contrast with the gorgeous new green leaves. And Redbuds are one of my favorite Spring trees. This is the view from my back door - HCS & HSoS (free theme)
Doves are often seen as a sign of peace and hope. This week I watched a Mourning Dove start to build a nest in the cedars in our backyard. I had to take the picture through our patio window so I did not scare the pair off. The male brings the materials to the female who actually builds the nest. In these times, I am taking this as sign of hope and renewal in our world. I wish much peace to everyone on this Easter Weekend.
