I bumped in to Magi after a landscape shoot in Callander with only a wide angle lens I asked if I could take his portrait. After talking for a bit and finding out a little bit about him he gave me a poem below, Magi is a special kind of person as he live in the woods in Balquidder, he’s a musician a poet and a very nice gent of whom I am very proud to have met.
He is the Bard of the braes of Balquidder.

I met this lovely gent in Callander today he said soon god will free Scotland, he said it with such soul that I believed him. I asked his name about three time but he just kept saying the same words over and over, so for now I’ll just call him Wallace until I find out different. I just had to show his soul in these images. Update: just got a message from one of his friends.
