In a scene never to be witnessed again, and often overlooked by railway photographers, Northern Rail Class 142 Pacer DMUs 142092 and 142071 cross at Meadowhall Interchange with services from Beverley and to Adwick respectively.
142071 and 142092 were both examples from the second batch of Pacers built in 1986-1987. 142092 was scrapped at Sims Metals in Newport in January 2020 whilst 142092 had the dubious honour of being the final example of the class to be scrapped at Sims Metals in Hull in September 2021.
