A beautiful example of the Japanese Kengai (Cascade) style of Chrysanthemum training and display, exhibited at the Kiku (Chrysanthemum) Festival at the New York Botanical Garden. This was shot by my beautiful and talented wife.

Another beautiful butterfly that I saw during a visit to Stratford upon Avon Butterfly Park.
Today we drove to the Isle of Skye through some of the most amazing scenery that I have ever seen - a 250 mile round trip, but worth every mile.
We are now in Cow Cottage in Langford, Somerset - another lovely cottage. I think this is a Peony, but Iam not sure. Thank you Tristan and Maureen for the ID - it is a Begonia.

These are the first two flowers on my Camellia bush. It is full of buds waiting to open, but sadly there don't seem to be any bees around due to the cold.
Mother Nature is wonderful. The textures on this pretty white flower were lovely.
