Nyama Foodz was serving food at the Crick Scarecrow Festival in July 2022. 'The finest in Jamaican catering' they claim,. They clearly are not the best at sign writing, but I have to admit their food looked and smelled great. I had a couple of Samosas from another stall prior, so unfortunately, did not sample any, but I did get a circle (Sort of) to square for my project!

Nyama Deene aka Dinkie from Freetown Sierra Leone West Africa Scunthorpe General Hospital 23rd August 1972. Les Girls move on. Two girls from Sierra Leone who have spent nearly four years in this country as guests of the Scunthorpe Rotary Club are now training to be state certified midwives.
Both Patricia Buck and Nyama Deene have both qualified as State Registered Nurses after studying and working at Scunthorpe General Hospital.
When it was found that both girls in their early twenties couldn't train at home. The Round Table stepped in to help.
They agreed to pay the round fare to this country for the two girls and keep a fatherly eye on them whilst they trained. Hoping that they would take their new skills back to Sierra Leone.
Patricia has left Scunthorpe to study at Salford Hospital and Nyama has gone to Edgeware.
