A regular sight in our hotel. Here taken with ISO 25.600; the highest ISO I have ever used. Although there is a lot of grain, taking into account that this was 600mm, 1/40 th of a second and it was at a fair distance (30 meters away) in there middle of the night with the help of a torch, the result is acceptable. The previous foto of the same bird was taken at a lower ISO and some softening to get rid of the grain. Also an acceptable shot.
A small and regularly seen owl
We found this Pearl-spotted owlet in a tree in camp and it kept us entertained for hours!
