It's lovely to see all the snowdrops (Galanthus nivalis) in the gardens again- the year's first flowers. (These ones are from last year).
As another sign of spring, we heard the oystercatcher at sea this morning, for the first time up here this year. (The second morning in a row at sea, with 23 sightings and photography meetings with the white tailed eagles.)
