These geese had their territory in a park in Goes.
so sweet how the young geese lie among the Daisies in the shade.
Nowadays this park is without geese. They were all moved to another location.

Because Beethoven was alone I had found a girlfriend named Bessie for him. She was already 5 years old and was the boss in the house. Beethoven had no say. So what I did to please him, that failed.
I was able to give her back to her previous owner and now she has found a new warm basket with another girl in the house. ♥
I'll just pop around the corner to see how you're doing!

Than 6 months old, trying to catch the water, today he is smarter! ;-))

Here he is the first day with me. He was sick, had a runny nose and, which later turned out, had the Giardia lamblia parasite in his intestines. He weighed just 1.6 kg at the age of 3 months.
These were difficult times, even a visit to the University Animal Clinic in Ghent Belgium.
It took a long time to get this parasite out of his body with medication, he also had severe diarrhea and I had to shower him all the time. I also was on medication to prevent me from getting that parasite too.
Unfortunately because of that parasite, his intestines are very sensitive. He is still on medication for this, but the side effect of this is that his eyes become irritated. Although he has managed to cope with this for the time being.
Luckily he is happy right now and fairly healthy; my little big boy Beety ♥

Beethoven nearly 2 years ago.
His first snow that turned into rain.
Last night we had snow, but here in the south it's raining now.
In the middle of my country there is still snow.
I am sorry that the snow is gone, because I was planning to go outside with Beethoven on a leash.

Still in his nest hairs but very enterprising.
Here he didn't know how to get back.
This climbing pole is over 1 meter high and he was hanging
instead of standing. But... he was saved. 😻
