Wading through a sea of humanity

It was an edifying experience to wade through the massive sea of humanity! All you can see is bobbing heads, I thought the whole of mainland China was here, and that the island would actually sink at some point! It wasn't a very pleasant experience, I can tell you that. Jan/ Feb. 2012.

The whole of mainland China must be here!

It was an edifying experience to wade through all those teeming millions (or so it seemed!). Two massive groups are passing each other here. I was really standing out as the only non Chinese in the crowd! Jan/ Feb. 2012.

Sea of Humanity

This was a shot from the Orange County Street Fair on a Saturday Night. The crowd was ridiculous: easily the most dense concentration of human beings I've ever been a part of. None of the photos I took effectively communicate just how ridiculously crowded this thing was.

I still had fun and everything, but it was truly ridiculous. More thoughts here.

The amount of people that crossed under the National Mall via the Third Street Tunnel was so staggering. I never would have thought it to be used as a pedestrian walkway to support the almost two million people who came to see the inauguration of Barrack Obama as the 44th President of the United States.
