Empty feeders

The birds continue to eat me out of house and home, or even the garage where their food is kept. I am currently filling four feeders a day, some of which are very large. It’s mainly finches and their young at the moment, goldfinch, chaffinch, Siskin, greenfinch and sparrows, along with blackbirds, pigeons and doves, starlings and all their babies, jackdaws and even a yellowhammer today. But still very few tits for some reason, they are plentiful around but rarely come into the garden apart from the odd coal tit.

Here I pass high above the city of humans, those stupid creatures, once again they have become too many, since they again dress in metal a sign that they soon will ritually clash with other humans on fields until only a few remain, for my kin there will be loads of food, for a while, picking an eye out of a decapitated human head lying about is like picking a cherry from a tree at season...

Seasons, that is it, it is human mass extinction season, they load up with metal and men then they clash and their blood can be drunken afresh on any field...

still I think I prefer Cherry season... but sure human eyeballs will do, next week I will pass above this spot again and there will be plenty of food for my and my kin, murders of us will appear for the feast!!!

but not I am going for the fish-kins spawning season!!!

Toujours lors de ma petite balade matinale

A couple of weeks ago we met two friends following our vaccination and we walked to Montmartre as they suggested we visit the Sacré-Cœur by going up in the Montmartre funicular but when we got there we were - to put it mildly - surprised by the amount of people around and especially how packed the funicular was with passengers. We very politely declined the visit up to the Basilica... Covid was very much on our minds what with just receiving the vaccination an hour previously so definitely a case of being safe rather than sorry!

I added a bit of texture to the image to lift it from the usual tourist snap of this icon of Paris.
