Here's the view from my hotel room from another angle. At the other side of the courtyard you can see the restaurant with its gothic arches where I'll have breakfast tomorrow morning. Well, and normally I would invite you to come sit next to me if you wish but with the open window that is probably a bit too risky. You could fall out, and if you're not kind and gentle enough I could just throw you out 😉
I'm staying in this hotel because I went to a party earlier today and it's quite a trip back home, so I decided to stay here for the night and then drive home tomorrow. As a result I'm still wearing my party dress, which has a burgundy red top combined with a grey-blue flaring skirt. The dress is made of a silky material, not really satin yet very similar. It feels smooth and soft and has a slight shine to it too, making it look chic with a touch of glamour. That's just the way I like it, nice!
I'm staying in an hotel that used to be a seminary (theological college). I've found a comfortable spot on the windowsill of my room where I can sit down, relax, look outside and get some fresh air from the open window. From here I have a good overview of the various buildings that are located around the central courtyard. They all have the typical Dutch Roman Catholic brick architecture, in this case partly Neo-gothic and partly Neo-renaissance. Behind me is the church that is also part of the complex and that is still in use today.
I've been wearing this outfit for most of the day now and I didn't really have much of an opportunity to check if my hold-up stockings are still properly in place. However, now is the perfect time for a stocking check and adjustment; after all I'm in an old seminary and right in front of the window. I'm pretty sure the priests and clergymen of former days would not approve, yet they're not here anymore and today is my day to shine. So let's place my high heel carefully on the windowsill and pull up my skirt a little for easy access to my lacy stocking top. Then take the stocking top between my fingertips and give them that delightful little pull upwards; that feels so ultra feminine and exciting to do. Note that this is all God's creation so in that sense quite appropriate, and this place can use a bit of femininity and sensuality to compensate for its male prudish past.
I love how my party dress is shining in the light. The shine is not too flashy or bright so the dress stays classy and chic, yet it's definitely there and subtly adding glamour to my look. The shiny folds of the fabric also enhance my feminine curves: at the bust, around the waist and on the flaring skirt. I love the feminine shiny look and it makes me all happy and cheerful.
Let's stand up for a moment so you can see how my shiny skirt falls when I'm upright. I love the combination of the horizontal shiny folds on my waist in burgundy red with the vertical shiny folds of my flaring skirt in grey-blue. It creates a lovely feminine silhouette with lots elegance and grace, yet also with a nice extra bit of shiny glamour and subtle sensual allure. For sure wearing this party dress makes me feel wonderfully feminine and super happy.
Earlier today I went to a chic party so I'm still wearing my party dress and sparkly necklace. You can also see that I did my make-up extra careful today. I always use quite a lot of foundation to make my skin look smooth and flawless. For my eyes I use black eyeliner underneath to make them stand out and look bigger, mascara for the eyelashes and also eye shadow (although you cannot see that in this photo). My lipstick is usually bright red like you see here; I like that color and it fits with almost every outfit.
Here's another picture of me sitting on the windowsill, overlooking the old seminary buildings, the courtyard and the church behind me. I'm feeling so happy in my party dress; that feeling is 100% genuine and I think it shows. Another detail that I really like about this photo is how my skirt is shaped. The flaring skirt with its shiny folds emphasizes my hips and my thighs and legs are subtly visible too. It's elegant and chic yet also sensual in style, just the way I love it most.
