I made myself a Tuna fish Hoagie for dinner. We had: Three small tuna fish cans, Mayo, Olive oil, chopped white onion, Tomato, Iceberg lettuce and pre-sliced Sub rolls.

This week there has been an unusual Tuna run, near the pier. There have been 3 caught and released in the past week 2 fishing off the end of the 1000 ft pier and one fisherman in an outrigger kayak…that Tuna dragged the fisherman in his boat out to sea…about 6 MILES! He did land that one when a bigger seaworthy board picked him up! That would be one of my worst nightmares, for sure. This Tuna took over 3 hours to bring in close to the pier before the fisherman released it. A whole lot of stamina and strength from the fisherman and the fish, and patience on the part of the fisherman. It was so interesting to watch the process of sport fishing and I’m glad I stopped by the pier yesterday.
