Was taking pictures of our convalescing / recovering tuxedo kitty. This is the “sling” hammock level of a little cat tree and is presently her preferred napping spot. It’s fairly easy to get into and cuddles her. It’s close to a chair we humans like to sit in.. Btb, the flash did not faze her at all. Isn’t she shiny?
She’s still limping and learning to do things in a 3 legged fashion, while the forelimb bone heals.
This is my favorite picture of Thursday. BB loving the patch of sunlight. It probably caused her not think about her forelimb injury.

She’s still limping and this morning, just before this, I found her *on* the kitchen counter(no clue how she managed that)!! She was fixing to jump down and this kitty Gram (me) was plenty worried, so with great trepidation, I carefully picked her up and gently put her on the floor- whew!! (We don’t actually have a pick up and cuddle sort of relationship!)

A tad early for #WindowWednesdays but she’s so cute I couldn’t resist!
And, yes, we have had our tree up since the pandemic- I love the colorful cheeriness.
She’s now a teenaged kitty. Loveable but a scamp!! Except when she’s napping. She’s keeping an eye on me!

I think the most endearing quality about BB is that she does the unexpected!! It could be bc she’s still young and extremely playful, not set in her ways. Here she’s in the little cat tree next to the chair I sometimes sit in and I think she just needed/wanted to see what I looked like upside down!
She’s such a cute kitty! Not so much a playful kitten but now sort of a gangly teenager with a quirky personality.
