The Lakeside Arts Centre on University Park in Nottingham is an interesting subject in its own right, particularly if you enjoy architectural photography. I was fortunate enough to be in the right place at the right time when the late afternoon sunlight burst through a dark patch of cloud to illuminate the building and its reflection in Highfields Park Boating Lake.
A large ballon arch decorates the Dallas Hall Lawn in celebration of Peruna’s birthday during the 2025 PerunaPalooza hosted by the SMU Student Foundation on April 10, 2025.

Okay, definitely my last shot from this shoot......
In September last year I was emailed by aspiring model Isobel asking if I'd be up for a 'time for images' photoshoot. I'm uploading some favourites from our University Park shoot and although this was Isobel's first ever such shoot she quickly relaxed and I think we got some great shots over the course of about an hour and a half wandering round the park. I'm hoping to shoot again with her so expect more photos at some point soon.

New Theatre, University of Nottingham. The Nottingham New Theatre is a playhouse and production company based on University Park campus, Nottingham, England, funded in part by the University of Nottingham Students’ Union. There are two auditoria in the building, the main house and studio, but the theatre was closed circa 2023 due to a faulty roof, and the future is unclear.
