I had been wanting to shoot the old abandoned Bradmill factory for some time and while I was there with two friends who had visited once before, I have to say the experience was a little hair raising.
It was late afternoon with sunset fast approaching . . . entry meant climbing through an opening someone had obviously created in a wire fence surrounding the property, and then scaling walls and climbing through broken windows . . . and that was no exaggeration . . . carefully treading over broken glass and debris, looking over one's shoulder along with less than pleasant odours filling the air, meant it wasn't an experience for the faint hearted (me) . . . inside while amazing, was a little creepy and I must say I was as eager to leave as I had been to arrive!
The factory is actually set for demolition in the near future with residential housing taking its place.
