This is a critically endangered bird and one of the most endangered in the world and I really wanted to see it. It took two days to find it. They are declining rapidly because they are being caught and sold for the illegal bird trade where they get as much as 1000$ USD per bird. It is very sad. They are only found in Argentina, Uruguay and Brazil and are endangered in all 3 countries. There are less than 2000 left in the wild.
