After watching an ABC wildlife show, recently, I was keen to re-acquaint myself with this living puzzle - the platypus. While this individual was in the Broken River, high in the Queensland rainforest, the doco. was about a Hobart resident who has made an urban creek/drain his passion. What he has come to find is a small breeding group of these shy monotremes. Watch for the moment when a female feels safe to exit the water and present herself at Peter Walsh's feet!
