Additional concrete layer inside in the cold weather - cats walked all over it while it was drying. / Még egy réteg aljzatbeton - a környékbeli macskák összejárkálták míg száradt.
Construction in our backyard in November 2016 - we are continuously improving the 100-year old barn building with the intent that it becomes a community hall for our family, with a dining area and a pingpong table. So far, the walls are restored (April 2015) and covered with mortar (April 2016), the ceiling has been replaced by new wooden planking (May 2016), the future bathroom covered with tiles (September) and now the floor is covered with tiles and the outer walls fixed. Still missing are two windows and two doors, completion of the electrical network and lighting (wires are layed out since June-July, fixtures bought the same time), painting the walls and windows, and installing the water and sewage system (toilette, sink, and tap water). I already moved here some old furniture from my deceased grandmother's house, but we will need chaires and tables for sure - I want to use this space for a family gathering for my daughter's high school graduation.

A mostani átalakítás már tavaly elkezdődött, előbb a falak helyreállításával és a padló betonozásával (2015. április-május), majd idén áprilisban a vakolás és a födém faborítása következett, nyáron villanyszereléssel folytattuk, szeptemberben a leendő mosdót, most pedig a padlót csempéztük ki. Hátravan még két ajtó és két ablak, falak és nyílászárók festése, a villanyszerelés befejezése (a vezetékek már benn vannak, csak a szerelvények és lámpák nincsenek mind fenn), és a vízszerelés (vécé, mosogató). Kelleni fognak bútorok is (székek és asztalok),bár januárban meghalt nagymamám házából több bútort elhoztam már mostanában Gyuláról. Májusban Dóra lányom ballagása után a családi ebédet már itt szeretném tartani.

Construction in our yard in September 2014 - current works aim to fix the old ruiny buildings in the backyard, including the fence. The mixer was borrowed from a builder friend, and we hired three people to work on the concrete floor.
Építkezés az udvarunkon 2014 szeptemberében - a hátsó sarkokat tettük rendbe, az egyiket most szombaton le is betonoztuk, a kerítésépítésre készülve. A keverőt kőműves barátunktól kaptuk kölcsön, három segédmunkást pedig felfogadtunk a munkára.
